Marnie Woodrow is an award-winning writer, instructor and editor who has worked with Canadian and international writers of fiction, memoir, non-fiction, poetry and drama for 16 years. Her primary areas of interest are developmental/substantive edits, ghost writing, and limited weekly/bi-weekly coaching.

Booking now for Fall 2017. Some availability for work on novels, memoirs, short fiction collections. Complete drafts (however rough) are ideal. Sample required to ensure that we are a good creative fit for one another. Detailed editorial notes, phone consults included.

Quick Reads: 

If you really just want a fresh pair of eyes with editorial savvy for a short story, first chapter or the opening scenes in your screenplay, this is likely a great option for you. Light notes are customized, not generic, and then you can get back to the flow. This option does not include on-page edits, just notes. Rates by word or by page depending on project.
