Marnie Woodrow is the author of two short story collections and two novels, Spelling Mississippi and Heyday. Her essays, short fiction and poetry have appeared in numerous publications in Canada and the US. Her story Piñata is one of her favourite creations of late.

Born in Orillia, Ontario, Canada in 1969, she is also a playwright, actor, comedy writer, freelance content creator and essayist.
