Manuscript Evaluations: An in-depth editorial read of your partial or complete manuscript can help to evaluate the readiness of your novel, story collection, memoir, or essay collection. Is it ready to submit to agents? In need of a fairly intensive revision? This option is recommended as a way to avoid paying prematurely for editorial services such as proofing or copy editing. Detailed professional notes determine if your book or script is ready to move to the next stage, or if it needs further editorial TLC on a developmental level. This package includes a Zoom session to discuss my detailed notes and next steps. Fee is industry standard and is based on word count.

Deep Edits: Suitable for manuscripts that have been evaluated, declined, or beta-read and now require a developmental edit. The package also includes line editing where appropriate as a way to highlight a writer’s voice patterns, strengths, and areas for growth. An additional Zoom session can be added upon request. Fee is industry standard and based on word count. A sample of the work in progress is requested to ensure that we are a good match.

Query Letter Review: As you send your carefully crafted manuscript out to agents and or publishers, a strong query letter is essential. It can be the difference between “I’ll take a look at your work” and radio silence. Fee is industry standard.
